I’m Mike, the founder of Dr Shea. By day, I am an entrepreneur dedicated to natural beauty; by night, I am a creator driven by the same passion that fueled my time as a music artist with the No.1 recording band, So Solid Crew.

My journey into skincare wasn’t just a business move—it was personal. For years, I suffered from severe facial scarring caused by ingrown hairs. My confidence was at an all-time low until I discovered the transformative power of raw Shea Butter and African Black Soap. These natural ingredients didn’t just clear my skin; they changed my life.

In 2017, after five years of experimenting with textures and essential oils in my London home, Dr Shea was officially born. What started as a family memory—making our first batch of Tea Tree butter with my children—turned into a mission to provide waterless, concentrated skincare for the world.

My travels to Ghana allowed me to master the traditional art of making organic black soap. It was there that I met international superstar Sarkodie. He believed in the results of Dr Shea and shared it with his millions of followers, cementing us as a top preference for high-performance skincare.
